Hi, I'm Stephanie!

I’ve always been wildly curious. As a kid, I drove my mom crazy asking why about everything.

That curiosity eventually led me to study psychobiology and biochemistry and earn my master’s degree in neuroscience. I’ve always been fascinated by systems—especially complex ones. And there may be no system more remarkable than the human body.

But after years of studying how the brain and metabolism work, understanding how that applies to me, and then working through my own health crisis, I realized something frustrating: Most health guidance skips the understanding part. Especially for women in midlife, when the body changes and the old advice suddenly stops working.

Instead of helping you learn how your body actually works, conventional advice jumps straight to rules and prescriptions—eat less, exercise more, try harder. If that worked, we'd all have 6-pack abs and beach bodies.

My approach is different.
